FAQ: Questions You May Have What can I expect in therapy? 1. First appointments are all about fit. We'll touch on your history and get to know each other better. Together, we'll find what your goals may be and what to expect moving forward. I want to ensure we are a good fit therapeutically. Should your situation require more than an online setting offers we'll discuss alternatives. 2. Sessions are scheduled Monday through Friday, the length of a regular session is 55 minutes, longer sessions, 90 minutes are available upon request. Policy and procedures can be found via the 'Book Appointment' link. The link leads to forms for new clients and is found at the bottom of this page. 3. Online therapy has worked well for clients. Over the years I have found clients prefer phone based sessions which allow for movement, focus and less technological distractions or complications. As such, I offer remote therapy via phone. Therapy via phone is not allowed while operating a vehicle due to your safety and traffic laws in Idaho and Texas. 4. When you are ready just click on the 'Schedule Session' button on th home page. You will be directed to the client portal where you will be able to complete the necessary forms to get started. From there I'll confirm your paperwork and send you a link to the calendar to schedule Do you take insurance? What are your rates? At this time I am not taking insurance and have set up a private pay schedule for payments . Payments are taken the day of services via a secure HIPAA compliant App created for therapists. Individual sessions: $150/55 minute session While I do not take insurance, I can provide you with a superbill upon request every four sessions.
